The Respironics DreamWear Under The Nose Nasal Mask brings a new and exciting design with a soft silicone frame that directs airflow through two silicone tubes to join at the full face cushion. Because the frame is soft and flexible it adapts naturally to facial contours without pinching or applying pressure to any points.The DreamWear Gel Pillow Mask features a hollow frame design, providing a more stable hose connection at the top of the head where therapy air then travels down the frame to the cushion. This helps prevent tugging or tension on the cushion itself, creating a more reliable seal. By placing the hose connection on the crown of the head, it eliminates all the bulk from the front of the mask allowing natural side or stomach sleepers to sleep in their preferred position. This is a huge advantage for anyone who struggles to get comfortable at night. With the unique frame design on either side of the head, the majority of the face is unobstructed, including the line of sight. An open line of sight allows for nighttime reading and the minimal contact points of the mask help avoid irritation, making it the perfect option for patients with facial hair.

The DreamStation Auto is an advanced APAP machine that monitors your breathing for flow limitations and adapts to them, automatically adjusting therapy throughout the night to ensure you're receiving the optimum pressure for a comfortable night's sleep, doing the work for you giving you that peace of mind that you deserve.

User Friendly Design

The DreamStation is designed with the user in mind. Tray style filters make taking filter in and out easy for regular cleaning and replacement. The display is front-facing for easy viewing if placed on an eye-level nightstand. The display is colorful and easy to navigate using the turing dial also on the front of the machine. The DreamStation Auto CPAP has an ambient light sensor housed on the top of the machine which will adjust the displays brightness depending on ambient light in the room.

Flex Comfort

C-Flex, C-Flex+, A-Flex, A-Flex Pressure gives you a more natural breathing experience by mirroring the user's natural breathing, the algorithms intelligence will respond to the user's needs on a breath by breath basis. Delivering the right amount of pressure relief enables users to become more compliant with their sleep therapy. The advanced Digital Auto-Trak algorithm, detects the onset of inspiration and exhalation, to provide a more natural breathing experience.

Smart Ramp

SmartRamp will monitor the user and increase pressure only if an event occurs. Traditional ramp is also available if desired. The Pressure therapy range must be greater than 4 cm H2O in order for ramp to be used

Opti-Start

The Opti-Start Features starts your pressure therapy at 90% of the pressure reached in the previous session to help address any events that may occur early in your sleep therapy. If you are not satisfied with this feature you have the option to disable it.

What masks can I use with the DreamStation?

Any Nasal, Full Face, or Nasal Pillow mask will work with the DreamStation. Although the DreamStation has both Heated tube and Slim style tube options, the ends of the tube are a standard diameter and can accommodate any mask.

 

Is the DreamStation quiet?

Yes. It's one of the quietest CPAP machines available delivering only 25.8 decibels which ensure a peaceful nights sleep for you and your partner.

 

Can I travel with and use my DreamStation on an airplane?

Yes, the DreamStation is FAA approved and can be brought on an airplane as carry-on.

 

Is the display on the DreamStation bright?

The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the amount of light in your room.  If you need to pause your therapy during the night, the screen will stay dim.

 

How do I know if my mask has a proper fit?

The DreamStation comes with a built in mask fit check. This feature will provide airflow to the mask and display if leaks are detected in the mask. As the mask is adjusted the machine's display will update to advise if a proper fit is detected.
