You've been diagnosed, now what?

It can be overwhelming and scary when you receive a sleep apnea diagnosis. The idea of wearing a mask to sleep can feel impossible. Don't worry, the LifeRested team is here for you each step of the way. We are dedicated to helping you find the right mask for your lifestyle and sleep patterns.

First Steps

The first step is to become familiar with your sleeping habits. Can you sleep with noise in the room? Do you sleep on your stomach? Is your mouth open when you sleep? These answers will help you find a mask and machine that is tailored to your current sleep routine, instead of requiring you to form new ones. Don’t stress if the first mask you try doesn’t work! We have a 30-day no risk return policy, meaning you can find the perfect fit guaranteed.

The First Week Can Be The Hardest

The first few nights can feel strange and maybe even frustrating. Despite the discomfort, it’s important to remember how exhausting you were during the day, and the goals you have set for a healthier tomorrow.

Your customized CPAP equipment was prescribed to not only help you get a better night’s sleep, but to give you an overall healthier life. Our LifeRested team is here to talk you through your concerns and any problems you might encounter. Give us a call! Our team wants you to succeed in living a healthier, well-rested life.

After I start therapy, what will the next few months look like?

Don’t expect immediate results. You may not see changes after one night of wearing the machine, but some people notice an immediate difference in their energy levels. If you are not one of those people, don’t give up!

We know the mask is going to feel awkward and unnatural at first. We recommend wearing your mask around the house for a few days. It will help you to adjust to the feel of the mask when you are awake, so it feels more comfortable in the evening.

Remember Your Health Goals

Do you want to wake up feeling rested, lower your risk of heart disease or boost your energy level? Write down your goals and review them when you feel frustrated. Consistently using your therapy devices is the only way to improve your sleep and help you reach your goals. Don’t wait another, start your journey now and find the package that is right for you.
